Ughhh Bummmmer

So I have been trying to face the fact that I am just not the greatest blogger. Between this blog and my wanna-be-wedding blog, I have sorta kinda failed. I don't know what my problem is. Am I not dedicated enough or something? Am I just a big ole blog consumer instead of a crafty blog creator? Hmm...well I don't wanna give it up! Maybe I just need to revamp my blogginess. I am tempted to combine my two blogs or start all over or something like that....but I am just not sure.
I have been trying to blame it one being too "busy," but there are wayyyyyy busier folks out there that handle their blogs just fine. How can Mom's with thousands of kids running around keep a great blog up and I cannot? Sheesh.

Auburn

I love Auburn.
Auburn stole my heart.
I had the most amazing 4 years there with the coolest people in the world.
I met my sweet husband at Auburn.
My little sister goes to Auburn.
We followed our mom, sister, and brother's footsteps to Auburn.
I have two amazing brother-in-laws taking Auburn by storm right now.
I get emotional thinking about auburn on a regular basis.
I love that BJ loves Auburn so much.
I love living 45 minutes down the road from that glorious town.
I love that feeling I get driving into Auburn...game day or not.
I love Taylor's Bakery, Big Blue Bagel, Toomer's Drugs, and Amsterdam Cafe.
I love the memories I have at Auburn.
I love the campus, the people, the friends, the family, the whole thing.

Where Is Summer Going??

Summer...where are you going? why are you leaving? you are so ruuuude to come and go so quickly! oh but you were so sweet to us! we are sad you are moving on...we will see you next year....so bring on FALL and AUBURN FOOTBALL! And sweaters and jeans and danskos and cooler air (one day) and orange leaves and more!

This summer has been filled with SO many fun things....

In June we celebrated Mom and Dad's trip to Israel as well as Dad's birthday. Oh and that was the month with all the car trouble. We also had BJ's 24th birthday! July brought on the always fabulous 4th of July lake Rabun weekend. Then we headed off for a week of bliss in St. Simons with my fam. We also had Austin and Mrs. Barbara's birthdays in July! August brought my birthday, when I was so surprised by a visit from Mom and Milla. Then Mom, Katie, Milla and I had a blast in Auburn getting her moved in. A couple weeks later we headed to San Antonio for my dear friend/college roommate's wedding weekend!!!

And now we are back in Montgomery gearing up for a really busy season of work and life.

We are so excited about this fall. Excited about Auburn football, excited to be leading a group of seniors at our church, excited to be inching closer to our one year anniversary, and so excited about Elizabeth and Evan's wedding.

Slacker

Ok y'all, I officially have not blogged for a MONTH. Not cool.
It has been a whirlwind of a month though and there are lots of updates to give!
Everything from our glorious family vacation to the beach...to Mom and Milla surprising me for my birthday...to Claire's wedding weekend in San Antonio.
I am sorry I have been slacking. My goal is to get some pictures and updates about all of these things and more in the next few days.
I love you, dear blog friends.
In the mean time...I am also working on a little experimental project I am calling "Below the Magnolia."

Pets

So, as most of you know, I have become reealllyyy fond of our sweet cat, Clark. I do not really know why, but I just love him!! He just brings a little extra joy into our lives and who couldn't use that?

Anyway, last night I texted Camilla and this is how the convo went...

Me-"I really love this cat. Am I weird?"
Camilla- "I don't think its weird. Or if it is, I know where you get it. Mom just ordered June a hot dog at the Varsity."

BOOM! I LOVE IT!

The funny thing is, Mom didn't even really like Dogs until we got June for Dad's birthday 4 years ago! June has been the biggest hit ever :) She is the most chill, sweet pup ever.

So here is to June and Clark!!
